This is a substantial, layered “vine”-style band ring, sculpted first out of wax in layers for a lot of depth. It looks different on every side; its asymmetry means there is no front or back to the ring. Reminiscent of tangled vines or roots, it draws the eye and packs a punch.
The ring is hand-sculpted and cast using lost wax casting - a process which destroys the wax mold so that each cast piece is one-of-a-kind and cannot be repeated.
