This asymmetrical, circular medallion pendant was first sculpted out of wax, in open layers, to create an open, yet dense piece reminiscent of tangled vines or roots. A piece with a lot of depth, it’s a solid piece that looks very open at the same time.
It is hand-sculpted and cast using lost wax casting – a process which destroys the original wax mold so that each cast piece is one-of-a-kind and cannot be repeated. The piece is completed with a sterling silver box chain and spring ring clasp.
