This piece is originally sculpted out of wax to create an asymmetrical, flowy oval medallion. The highlights and shadows of the piece come out through its oxidization, which makes the silver a little darker for a bit of three dimensionality. It is hand-sculpted and cast using lost wax casting – a process which destroys the wax mold so that each cast piece is one-of-a-kind and cannot be repeated. The piece is completed with a sterling silver box chain and spring ring clasp.
