These earrings have a reddish tone, as they are made of Bloodwood - a wood from South America. Used commonly for guitars and fine woodworking, it’s a very warm-toned and complements the silver inlay, which is added to the wood after carving. The earrings are finished with hand-forged sterling silver ear wires.

NOTE: My wood pieces are sealed with a jewelers' wax for protection and water resistance. However, the pendant is not waterproof, so showering or swimming while wearing the necklace is not recommended.
