This fun rectangular cube is sculpted from a wood called Yellowheart, which is commonly referred to as Pau Amarello – Portuguese for “yellow wood”. Few woods are as consistent and vibrant a yellow as Yellowheart; this piece is cut where the darker tone is on the front/back of the cube with silver inlay, and the sides have the yellowest shades.
This pendant is two sided; silver line and dot inlay has been added to BOTH sides, meaning it can be worn with either side showing – no true “back” or “front” to the piece. It is paired with a sterling silver chain.
