2-Sided Spalted Maple and Silver Inlay Curve Out Rectangle Necklace

This hand-carved pendant is made of spalted maple – a coveted wood used often for sculpture. The black lines in the wood are natural to spalted woods, and always have unique patterns. This particular piece is a two-sided pendant – each side has silver inlay set into the wood, and then sealed with a jewelers’ wax for protection and water resistance. However, the pendant is not waterproof, so showering or swimming while wearing the necklace is not recommended. The pendant is finished with an 18″ sterling silver chain and spring ring clasp.
